I had the pleasure as to participate in a panel discussion at the European Commission for their Blue Book Trainees. I explained how young professionals can leverage and navigate their emotional intelligence in large international institutions.

Earlier this summer, I was part of a panel during a seminar that focused on “Doing Security Differently”. I spoke about my nearly two-decade experience in the world’s largest political-military organization. I stressed the importance of building human resilience and changing organizational cultures to meet the needs of the complex reality of the 21st Century. Fostering human security in Western Security Institutions based on emotional intelligence is key to the secret of successful workforce development.
EQ-Based Crisis Simulation in Paris
Earlier this summer, I designed and delivered a custom made crisis simulation for the Inclusive Leadership hub at the German Marshall Fund of the United States office in Paris. Participants from across countries, backgrounds, gender and sectors learned how to catch their unconscious bias when solving problems and making decisions under pressure!
